Jennifer Lopez was originally born to an Puerto Rican mother and father in the year 1969. Lopez began taking dance classes in her early childhood. At 16, she made her debut acting in films with a minor role in My Little Girl. In 1991 Lopez got her TV debut as she was cast in In Living Color as a professional dancer. Lopez was an officer who was confused in Shades of Blue, a police procedural (2016-2018). Second Act (2018,) was a witty comedy that featured her as the role of a woman who had a desirable job after friends boosted the profile of her. Lopez was part of a predominantly women-only cast for Hustlers (2017) the story of strippers who swindle wealthy customers. In 2022 Lopez starred as the wife in two romantic comedies. In the movie Marry Me, an aspiring pop singer, upon discovering that she's been cheated upon by her husband, decides to wed a mathematician that was in her concert.
